▪ On April 21 in the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima a meeting was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of St. Vincent Pallotti’s canonization. It was organized by Fr. St. Kantor, SAC, Superior of the Ukrainian Delegature, who invited Pallottine Fathers, Sisters and lay UAC members and friends from all over the Ukraine. Fr. Zenon Hanas, Vice-Provincial was a special guest. The meeting started with the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Pallotti’s texts and prayers. Then Deacon Grynewicz gave a talk about the times in which Pallotti lived and also about the structure and tasks of the UAC. The central celebration was the Mass presided by Archbishop Malczuk, ordinary of Kijów-Żytomierz Diocese. After lunch the UAC Family prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet, thanked God for the mission and sanctity of their Founder, and prayed for new vocations to the Union. Fr. Z. Hanas’ talk, illustrated with slides, led them to Rome where they could see places linked with St. Vincent’s life.

▪ From 3-13 July in our convent in Żytomierz, a formation workshop was held for all our native sisters from the Ukraine, White Russia and Russia. It was organized by Sr. Mirosława Włodarczyk, a provincial councilor. She invited Mrs. Izabela Owczaruk, psychologist, UAC member, Srs. Monika Szupryt and Blanka Sławińska as collaborators. The aim of the session was to let the Sisters know each other better and to integrate.- hoping that this would help them collaborate and relate better in their communities. The participants were happy to have such a chance and enjoyed the sessions very much.

Although we may be engaged in a variety of ministries, we all share the common call to apostolic discipleship in a community of the Catholic Apostolate of St. Vincent Pallotti."(OWL, 91)

"Our relationships with one another should be marked by a love that bears all, believes all and hopes for all, a love that is neither conceited nor jealous, which hurts no one, nor is embittered or resentful. It is never discouraged but remains patient and kind. It rejoices with others and shares their suffering. It is with this kind of love that we should help and support one another." (OWL, 90)
